Renewal Of Hope

sky remains the same blue

earth in its muted brown

in between I explore

crying over the lost lives of humans

swimming in the river of tears

hoping the river will join ocean of peace

soothing the wounded heart with love 

assuring once again the innocent smiles will bloom

humanity will rise again
