Hide and seek

Recycling thoughts appeared once again

Suffering in pain I wondered

What is it that I am holding on to

Objects, feelings and sensations

Play hide and seek

Life laughs and says catch me

I try to, but in vain

Losing  gracefully I realise

All that is left is fragrance of love

Glistening waters

Aquamarine water glitters under the sun

Naughtily winking at me

Teasing my toes tempts me

Promising to hold me

Resisting the temptation

I look back to see

All the things I love

Holding on makes sense

Fear of unknown bars my move

I pause..

Seeing everything

Letting go of myself

Now I am the water and the waves

I am the ocean and the sky

Witnessing the merger

I stand alone

Clouds of memories

When cloud laughs

I run fast

Scared of the rain

Washing away the memories

When sky rips open

Engulfing me with water

I lose my identity

Freeing my memories

With the wetness of love

I laugh at them

Now they are the cloud

I am the sky

Untouched by time

Sunny day

I threw open the windows

My heart singing with joy

I was ready to see the light

Alas! the light was inside

Laughing at my stupidity

Dissolving in the light

I forgot my "I"

Fools are those who look outside

The whole universe is inside

Losing the "I" inside

I saw sunny day outside

to grandpa..with love

image :google

life was always cruel to him
he bore it with a smile
even when his vocal chords were removed
he still wanted to talk...
he didn't bow to cancer
it left him with respect
he was an adorable grandpa
he taught us all how to live
to respect and accept life
to welcome life with a smile
allowing it to flow in you
and when time comes to say bye
no regrets but love, love and only love...

My grandfather was diagnosed with throat cancer. His vocal chords were removed.( this happened in early 1960's..when cancer was a very rare disease ..there was no proper treatment available). He had a hole in his throat. He never complained about his condition. The ability to accept the reality and to live is a rare commodity. He went on to live for 40 plus years after the removal of his tumour. He was a surprise case to the doctors. He lived his life to the fullest...of 83 years..

coalescing in silence

deep inside the heart

I dwell in silence

witnessing the play of life

illuminated by me

when the play is over

quietude remains

stumbling in the dark

image : google

when I was stumbling in the darkness

You held my hand and led the way

the light You emitted lit the path

merging in You I became life

understanding the pulse of Universe

resonating in Your Love

joyous it runs in every heart

binding everyone in its warmth

topic: love is not a greeting card
